Cela n\u2019emp\u00eache pas qu\u2019une automobile, quel que soit son age, est faite pour rouler, pas pour rester enferm\u00e9e dans un cocon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/100_ans_Jean_Panhard_019.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/100_ans_Jean_Panhard_019.jpg\" alt=\"100_ans_Jean_Panhard_019\" class=\"wp-image-1011\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Voici un petit aper\u00e7u chronologique de Doyennes vues ici ou l\u00e0. Certaines appartiennent \u00e0 des membres du club, d\u2019autres sont visibles dans des mus\u00e9es\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commen\u00e7ons par le formidable mus\u00e9e de Compi\u00e8gne qui regorge d\u2019une foultitudes de merveilles tr\u00e8s anciennes\u2026 un r\u00e9gal. On y trouve deux des plus anciennes Panhard &amp; Levassor connues dont, \u00e0 gauche, le second prototype de 1891. A droite, un pha\u00e9ton deux places de 1891 \u00e9galement, repr\u00e9sentante de la premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de trente voitures construites au monde, dont cinq en 1891. Les principes de bases qui seront retenus plus tard sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u00e0: moteur \u00e0 l\u2019avant, transmission aux roues arri\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/index.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/index.jpg\" alt=\"index\" class=\"wp-image-1446\" style=\"width:402px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/mvt_phaeton_panhard_et_levassor.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/mvt_phaeton_panhard_et_levassor-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"mvt_phaeton_panhard_et_levassor\" class=\"wp-image-1447\" style=\"width:411px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui la plus ancienne automobile en \u00e9tat de rouler date de 1892 et c\u2019est une Panhard &amp; Levassor bien sur !<br>Elle appartient toujours \u00e0 la famille Panhard. Hippolyte Panhard l\u2019a re\u00e7ue en cadeau d\u2019anniversaire et fera \u00e0 son bord le premier voyage touristique automobile de l\u2019histoire: Paris-Nice en mars-avril 1893.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En juillet 2007, cette voiture a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9trospective de la course Paris-Bordeaux-Paris de 1895, parcourant sans panne majeure les 600 kilom\u00e8tres reliant Bordeaux \u00e0 Paris\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P1070151.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/P1070151.jpg\" alt=\"P1070151\" class=\"wp-image-1452\" style=\"width:339px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Les mus\u00e9es de Mulhouse et de Rochetaill\u00e9e pr\u00e9sentent \u00e9galement de belles pi\u00e8ces tr\u00e8s anciennes. Ci dessous une wagonnette de 1894 \u00e0 moteur V2 Daimler, \u00e0 Mulhouse.&nbsp; Et en dessous,&nbsp; un break \u00e0 moteur Penix 2 cylindres de 1896, visible \u00e0 Rochetaill\u00e9e.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1894_Mulhouse.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1896_Rochetaillee2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1896_Rochetaillee2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"1896_Rochetaillee2\" class=\"wp-image-1454\" style=\"width:402px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme nous l\u2019avons vu plus haut la famille Panhard a conserv\u00e9 un certain nombre de tr\u00e9sors, dont un prototype unique \u00e0 moteur monocylindre de 1897. Cette voiture \u00e9tait surnomm\u00e9e la \u00ab&nbsp;voiture des jardins&nbsp;\u00bb. Certains de nos membres ne s\u2019en privent pas ! Voici Th\u00e9o dans sa merveilleuse wagonnette \u00e0 moteur 4 cylindres Phenix de 1898. Lui aussi a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9trospective du Bordeaux-Paris de 1895 en juillet 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1898.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1898-300x281.jpg\" alt=\"1898\" class=\"wp-image-1455\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Retour \u00e0 Mulhouse avec ce landaulet type A1, \u00e0 moteur 2 cylindres Phenix de 1898, carross\u00e9 chez Binder \u00e0 gauche et cet autre landaulet type A2, \u00e0 moteur 2 cylindres Phenix de 1900. Encore une voiture qui roule\u2026<br>On notera qu\u2019apr\u00e8s la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation des pneumatiques, le diam\u00e8tre des roues a \u00e9volu\u00e9: les roues sont maintenant sensiblement de m\u00eame dimensions \u00e0 l\u2019avant et \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1901_B1_B2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1901_B1_B2-300x206.jpg\" alt=\"1901_B1_B2\" class=\"wp-image-1459\" style=\"width:405px;height:auto\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Une jolie A2 de 1902 s\u2019est r\u00e9cemment vendue lors du salon R\u00e9tromobile 2007. Avant le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de son pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent propi\u00e9taire, cette voiture \u00e9tait connue pour rouler beaucoup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1902_A2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1902_A2.jpg\" alt=\"1902_A2\" class=\"wp-image-1829\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Retour au mus\u00e9e de Mulhouse avec quelques merveilles. Voici tout d\u2019abord deux coup\u00e9s chauffeurs : une grosse 24CV type U1 de 1906 carross\u00e9e chez Kellner, suivie d\u2019une 18CV type X8 de 1911 carross\u00e9e chez J. Rothschild &amp; Fils, Rheims et Auscher \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1906_U1_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1906_U1_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1906_U1_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1830\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1908_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1908_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1908_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1831\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous trouvons ensuite une jolie berline \u00e0 3 portes 12CV type X5 (premier moteur monobloc) de 1911 et un coup\u00e9 chauffeur 18CV X12 de 1912.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1911_X5_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1911_X5_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1911_X5_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1832\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1912_X12_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1912_X12_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1912_X12_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1833\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Une belle limousine 35CV type Y de 1911 carross\u00e9e chez J. Rothschild &amp; Fils, Rheims et Auscher \u00e0 Paris qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendues aux ench\u00e8res \u00e0 R\u00e9tromobile en 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1911_Y.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1911_Y.jpg\" alt=\"1911_Y\" class=\"wp-image-1834\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La 10CV type X19 a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante chez Panhard &amp; Levassor. Le grand carrossier Labourdette a donn\u00e9 naissance en 1912 \u00e0 un splendide torp\u00e9do skiff en acajou qui n\u2019existe plus mais dont une r\u00e9plique (\u00e0 gauche) est visible au Nationaal Automobiel Museum, aux Pays-Bas, qui rassemble la collection Louwman. A droite, un classique torp\u00e9do X19 de 1913.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1912_X19_Louwman.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1912_X19_Louwman.jpg\" alt=\"1912_X19_Louwman\" class=\"wp-image-1835\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1913_X19.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1913_X19.jpg\" alt=\"1913_X19\" class=\"wp-image-1836\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ces voitures \u00ab&nbsp;populaires&nbsp;\u00bb, Panhard &amp; Levassor se taille une enviable r\u00e9putation avec ses voitures de luxe, tel ce tr\u00e8s beau coup\u00e9 chauffeur 17CV type X26 de 1920, visible \u00e0 Mulhouse. C\u2019est le d\u00e9but de la supr\u00e9matie du moteur sans soupape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1920_X26_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1920_X26_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1920_X26_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1837\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La comp\u00e9tition a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important chez Panhard &amp; Levassor. Le mus\u00e9e de Mulhouse pr\u00e9sente quelques tr\u00e9sors.<br>Voici l\u2019une des voitures du grand prix de l\u2019ACF 1908 : 120CV, 12,8 litres ! C\u2019est lors de cette \u00e9preuve et \u00e0 bord de cette voiture que se tu\u00e8rent le pilote Cissac et son m\u00e9canicien suite \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9clatement d\u2019un pneumatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1908_GP_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1908_GP_Mulhouse-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"1908_GP_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1468\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus tard la marque abandonnera la course, trop meurtri\u00e8re, pour se consacrer aux records\u2026 Voici la 35CV 8 cylindres de records de 1926 et la 20CV Sport de 1932, toujours \u00e0 Mulhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1932_X49_Mulhouse.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/1932_X49_Mulhouse.jpg\" alt=\"1932_X49_Mulhouse\" class=\"wp-image-1846\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En tourisme, les ann\u00e9es 20 marqueront l\u2019abandon total des moteurs \u00e0 soupapes et la mont\u00e9e en gamme des voitures de la marques avec l\u2019abandon progressif des plus petits mod\u00e8les. En m\u00eame temps, la mont\u00e9e en gamme continue puisqu\u2019il n\u2019y a plus que de puissantes 6 ou 8 cylindres.
