Tr\u00e8s vite Monsieur PERIN lui demanda de s\u2019associer \u00e0 lui. L\u2019affaire devint la maison PERIN-PANHARD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les ateliers s\u2019av\u00e9r\u00e8rent trop petits car l\u2019affaire prenait de l\u2019extension, c\u2019est alors que Ren\u00e9 PANHARD acheta les terrains de l\u2019avenue d\u2019Ivry et fit venir, afin de l\u2019aider \u00e0 r\u00e9organiser tout cela, son camarade de promotion, Emile LEVASSOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peu de temps apr\u00e8s la mort de Monsieur PERIN, Ren\u00e9 PANHARD demanda \u00e0 Emile LEVASSOR de devenir son associ\u00e9. Les deux hommes avaient des caract\u00e8res tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents mais ils \u00e9taient parfaitement compl\u00e9mentaires. Ils d\u00e9cid\u00e8rent de se lancer dans la grande aventure automobile que l\u2019on appelait alors \u00ab&nbsp;voitures sans chevaux&nbsp;\u00bb.<a href=\"https:\/\/doyennes-panhard-levassor.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Ren\u00e9_Panhard_en_1892.jpg\"><\/a>En novembre 1890, ils d\u00e9cid\u00e8rent de construire non plus des prototypes mais 30 voitures pour satisfaire les pionniers qui souhaitaient utiliser ce mode de propulsion. Ce n\u2019\u00e9taient pas des commandes : on construisait d\u2019abord des voitures et apr\u00e8s, seulement apr\u00e8s, on les vendait. L\u2019industrie automobile est n\u00e9e ce jour l\u00e0, avenue d\u2019Ivry dans les ateliers de PANHARD &amp; LEVASSOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tandis qu\u2019Emile LEVASSOR \u00e9tait un ing\u00e9nieur g\u00e9nial et aust\u00e8re, Ren\u00e9 PANHARD \u00e9tait un homme aimable, jovial, brillant financier et commer\u00e7ant incontestable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tr\u00e8s vite leur affaire prit de l\u2019extension. Les voitures PANHARD &amp; LEVASSOR furent les premi\u00e8res \u00e0 \u00eatre export\u00e9es un peu partout dans le monde.
